The Sage Gateshead

The Sage Gateshead is an international music centre for musical education, performance and conferences. It includes two auditoria, a rehearsal space and a 25 room Music Education Centre. The spaces are linked by a covered concourse along the waterfront and the landmark building is enclosed by a glass and steel shell. The building took ten years of detailed planning and was designed after extensive consultations with musicians, audiences, music presenters and promoters. It is open to the public throughout the day, where visitors can see rehearsals, sound checks and workshops in progress. For more information visit www.thesagegateshead.org.

Metro Radio Arena

Metro Radio Arena is the largest concert and exhibition centre in the North East of England capable of supporting the very best in entertainment. The arena has a capacity of 11,000+ for concerts, while there is over 40,000sq ft of exhibition and conference space. The Metro Radio Arena lies on the North Bank of the River Tyne. Theatre Royal

The Theatre Royal is a Grade 1 listed building and remains one of the most historic, cultural landmarks in the country, dominating the heart of Newcastle's Grainger Town. In its 170 year history the Theatre Royal has played host to the biggest names in dance, drama, music and comedy. The Theatre Royal presents over 380 performances to over 300,000 people each year. Sunderland Empire

The Sunderland Empire is a large theatre venue based in Sunderland. It is the one of the only theatres in the North of England which is large enough to accommodate large-scale West End touring productions. The auditorium is also one of the few remaining in the UK to have four tiers, namely the Orchestra Stalls, the Dress Circle, the Upper Circle and the Gallery.
