West Wood Yurts is a luxury camping experience situated within a beautiful, secluded woodland glade of Cut Thorn Farm in a quiet corner
of National Trust Gibside. We have six yurts in our yurt village: 2 large yurts for sleeping up to six people and 4 small yurts for sleeping up to four people. West Wood Yurts is ideal for short weekday or weekend breaks or week long breaks...or more! We cater for large group bookings (you can book the whole site for yourselves!), family and friends holidays and couples getaways.
We are streamlining our bookings for the 2013 season, therefore we have made some changes to our prices and bookings! For the 2013
season, bookings are only able to commence on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with the following breaks being available...

Weekend Break (Friday to Monday, 3 nights) -
Large yurts are charged at a rate of £185 per yurt and small yurts are charged at a rate of £160 per yurt.
2-Night Weekday Break (commencing on either a Monday or Wednesday) -
Large yurts are charged at a rate of £130 per yurt and small yurts are charged at a rate of £110 per yurt.
4-Night Weekday Break (commencing on a Monday) -
Large yurts are charged at a rate of £260 per yurt and small yurts are charged at a rate of £220 per yurt.

2-Night Weekday Break (commencing on either a Monday or Wednesday) -
Large yurts are charged at a rate of £130 per yurt and small yurts are charged at a rate of £110 per yurt.
4-Night Weekday Break (commencing on a Monday) -
Large yurts are charged at a rate of £260 per yurt and small yurts are charged at a rate of £220 per yurt.
To make a longer break, you can simply add two or more or the above breaks together! We do not have an online booking system, all our bookings are taken personally by us. To make a booking enquiry, please either fill out our online booking enquiry form below, e-mail yurts@westwoodyurts.co.uk or call us on 07823334910. Following correspondence, we will provisionally book your dates for you and send you an e-mail detailing your booking reservation. To confirm your booking we will require a deposit of £50 per yurt, payable by direct transfer or cheque. The balance will be due on arrival. Once we have received your deposit we will send you your booking confirmation by e-mail. It's as simple as that!
