Please read our terms and conditions before you make a booking with West Wood Yurts.
Booking a Yurt
We do not have an online booking system, all of our bookings are taken personally by us. To make a booking enquiry, please either fill out our Online Booking Enquiry Form, e-mail us at yurts@westwoodyurts.co.uk or call us on 07823334910. We ask that bookings commence on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Following correspondence we will provisionally book your dates for you and send you an e-mail detailing your booking reservation. To confirm your booking we will require a deposit of £50 per yurt, payable by direct transfer or cheque. The balance will be due on arrival. Once we have received your deposit we will send you your booking confirmation by e-mail.
Cancellations Policy
If you have reason to cancel your booking with West Wood Yurts, we would be grateful if you could contact us to let us know as soon as possible so we can make the yurt(s) available to other guests. In the case of cancellation, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Arrival and Departure
Please contact West Wood Yurts before 12pm on the day of your arrival to confirm your estimated time of arrival. This can be done by e-mail to yurts@westwoodyurts.co.uk or you can call us on 07823334910. We ask that you arrive from 4pm. Parking facilities are provided a short distance from the yurts. We have limited space allocated for parking therefore we ask that you bring no more than one car if you are staying in a small yurt or two cars if you are staying in a large yurt! A member of the team will be available to meet you on your arrival to show you to your yurt. If you require any assistance transporting your luggage to your yurt this can be arranged. On the day of your departure, we would be grateful if you could vacate your yurt by 10am for cleaning purposes. West Wood Yurts is located on a working farm and so your co-operation would be greatly appreciated.
Damages Policy
The vast majority of our yurt camping guests leave the yurts in an acceptable condition on their departure. All we ask is that you leave the yurts in a respectable condition, having folded the futons back up to their original positions, done your washing up and placed your waste at the bin store at the utility block at the centre of our site. Please let us know if you damage anything throughout your stay. We only charge for replacements in exceptional cases as we do expect a degree of wear and tear. The only exception to this policy is where we may charge a nominal damages/excess cleaning deposit with group bookings.
Safety Notice
West Wood Yurts is not a manicured campsite with paved paths, therefore in places the terrain can be uneven and steep. Please make sure all members of your group are aware of this and wear suitable footwear.
Log burners are provided at the centre of each yurt as a heat source; these can get very hot to touch when in use! Please use the fire guards provided to surround the log burners if there are any children in your group as a safety precaution to prevent any accidents or injuries occurring.
